Hilton Garden Inn makes its debut in Indonesia’s capital

Featuring 168 keys and eight multipurpose function rooms, Hilton Garden Inn Jakarta Taman Palem is now welcoming its first guests in West Jakarta’s central business district.

This contemporary property becomes only the seventh Hilton Worldwide property in the whole of Indonesia.

A growing presence in South-East Asia

Owned by the Agung Sedayu Group company and managed by Hilton Worldwide, the new Hilton Garden Inn Jakarta Taman Palem in the heart of West Jakarta’s central business district is situated just 20 minutes away from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. For added convenience, the property is connected to Green Sedayu Mall.

“I am thrilled to welcome Hilton Garden Inn Jakarta Taman Palem to our growing Indonesia portfolio as the second hotel to open in the country this year on the back of the launch of our first hotel in Surabaya,” said Paul Hutton, vice president of operations in Southeast Asia for Hilton.

“These openings demonstrate the positive growth potential we continue to see in the market and our commitment to bringing our world-renowned brands to key destinations while making a positive impact on the communities we operate in. When travel returns in the longer term, I am confident Hilton Garden Inn Jakarta Taman Palem will offer both domestic and international travellers to Jakarta a fresh, welcoming experience that will elevate the levels of hospitality in the city.”

Jenny Milos, vice president of focused service and all suites brands in Asia Pacific for Hilton, added: “With more than 900 hotels in 50 countries and territories around the world, Hilton Garden Inn has one of our largest number of hotels within the Hilton portfolio.

“Whether they are travelling on business or leisure, our guests enjoy consistently modern accommodation and facilities that are complemented by the warm hospitality they receive at each and every one of our hotels delivered by our team members. I am delighted to see the brand enter yet another tier-one city in the region and have every confidence it will be top of mind for guests when they feel comfortable and confident to travel again.”
