A former travel agent in Hyattsville, Maryland, has pleaded guilty to a theft plan for the 2nd time, authorities mentioned Tuesday.

In a statement, Prince George’s County State’s Legal professional Aisha Braveboy explained Lorena Balbuena-Aguiar ran an unlicensed journey agency — Azteka Vacation & Providers, LLC — between 2018 and 2019 that was “targeting mostly the Hispanic neighborhood.”
“This is not the 1st time that she has defrauded folks, but with any luck , this sends a information that we won’t tolerate this,” Braveboy stated. “Financial crimes are devastating to the victims and we operate hard to get justice for people today who are taken benefit of.”
Balbuena-Aguilar formerly pleaded responsible and obtained property detention for running the similar scam, in accordance to the state’s attorney’s office.
