New art exhibition by Nollaig Dunphy opens at Cork’s Quay Co-op

An artist who worked at the Quay Co-op for many many years in the 1990s has picked the creating as the site for her initially exhibition
Hidden Connections, a collection of 19 summary paintings by Nollaig Dunphy, is now on screen in the Upstairs at the Co-op restaurant. The Cork indigenous is a psychotherapist with a passion for artwork. Her exhibition functions all new function designed throughout 2022.

Nollaig says it is great to return to the Quay Co-op, “It feels really fitting to be again at the Quay Co-op. I can genuinely say that having involved and doing work at the Quay Co-op was the best point that ever transpired to me and it is wherever I achieved all of my closest mates. It is this kind of a supportive place and has authorized so quite a few people today which includes myself to locate our way and be genuine to ourselves. My paintings are representative of my individual everyday living and interactions, though of system it’s abstract and hence not obvious to other individuals. Upstairs at the Co-op vegetarian cafe is open for lunch and meal Wednesday to Saturday from 12 midday. A ‘taster’ assortment of Nollaig’s paintings will also be on exhibit in the Downstairs Deli and in Carrigaline and in Ballincollig stores.
