Rosewood has signed its first hotel in Vienna, the
fifth luxury property in the group’s rapidly growing portfolio in
Europe.
Scheduled to open in summer 2022, the Rosewood Vienna
will be housed in the former headquarters of the Erste Group Bank
AG on Petersplatz, one of the most famous squares in Vienna’s Old
Town.
The Rosewood Vienna will offer 99 guestrooms and suites, all of which will
feature separate spaces for entertainment and relaxation.
The luxury hotel will offer a variety of dining and
entertainment options – including a rooftop bar, a spa, and a
choice of different meetings and events spaces.
The project’s
design will be overseen the London-based Alexander Waterworth
Interiors firm.

cultural offerings, and thriving culinary scene make it a natural

executive officer of Rosewood Hotel Group. “The city’s unique

opportunities for guests to lose themselves in the culture and
history that make central Europe so special, and we are excited
for Rosewood Vienna to serve as a portal through which visitors
can authentically experience all that the region has to offer.”
Rosewood Vienna will join Rosewood’s distinctive European
properties including Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, Rosewood
London, and Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel.
The brand’s strong
global pipeline now comprises of eleven projects in Europe
including high-profile projects in the United Kingdom, Germany,
Spain and Netherlands.
