WASHINGTON – The Treasury Division stated Wednesday that it has sanctioned a group of front providers and folks tied to the sale and cargo of Iranian petroleum and petrochemical products and solutions to East Asia.

Brian E. Nelson, Treasury’s undersecretary for terrorism and fiscal intelligence, mentioned in a statement that while the U.S. “is fully commited to achieving an arrangement with Iran that seeks a mutual return” to the Iran nuclear offer, “we will continue to use all our authorities to implement sanctions on the sale of Iranian petroleum and petrochemicals.”
