Visit Lebanon Valley giving away postcards for National Travel and Tourism Week

Visit Lebanon Valley has been giving away free postcards this week in celebration of National Travel and Tourism Week and Postcard Week.

While supplies last, the organization will mail a pack of postcards to each person who fills out an online form. The form requires a name, email, and address.

According to Visit Lebanon Valley’s press release, the postcard giveaway is meant to support Lebanon Valley tourism despite the ongoing pandemic.

“The public can help us get this message across that the Lebanon Valley can be a wonderful place to visit,” said Visit Lebanon Valley President Jennifer Kuzo. “Take your friends and family from out of town to some of these places and explore your own backyard to support our restaurants and small businesses”

The postcards feature scenery and attractions from the Lebanon Valley area.

“You might not think of Lebanon County and tourism as two things that go hand-in-hand, but would you agree that Hershey and Lancaster are tourist destinations?” Kuzo asked in the press release. “Would you agree that our outdoors like the Rail Trail and Middle Creek are worthy of attention? Would you agree that there are historically significant attractions, like the Union Canal and Cornwall Iron Furnace? Would you also say that we have charming small towns like Mt. Gretna and Annville?”
