SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) – Hilton’s latest upscale and affordable brand, Hilton Garden Inn, crossed a milestone with the opening of its 50th hotel in Asia Pacific in February: Hilton Garden Inn Jinzhou Central Street in China’s central business district of Jinzhou.

Launched last year, the Hilton Garden Inn brand has expanded into South Korea, Thailand, Australia and Indonesia. The hotels under this brand operate under a franchise model, in partnership with independent hotel owners. This year, another 20 hotels are expected to open, from a pipeline of 114 properties in Asia Pacific. The brand is expected to double its regional footprint by 2024.

“As one of the fastest growing Hilton brands in the region, Hilton Garden Inn offers a myriad of opportunities for owners to effectively tap into the travel recovery in Asia Pacific and capture the growing demand for mid-scale lodging solutions,” says Clarence Tan, Hilton’s senior vice-president for development, Asia Pacific.
