Standard International launches travel agent program: Travel Weekly

Standard International, parent company of The Standard and Bunkhouse hotel brands, has launched Secret Agent, a members-only platform for travel advisors. 

Advisors accepted into the Secret Agent program can tap into exclusive deals as well as educational content. 

Combinations of Secret Agent discounts, commissions and perks are available, including a 10% rate discount and 10% commission; a 20% rate discount with zero commission; and 10% commission and a food-and-beverage credit.

There also are upgrade opportunities and early check-in/late checkout based upon availability. 

Members get access to an “Agent Ally,” who is able to assist them with bookings.

Travel advisors who join the Secret Agent platform and make a booking by June 2022 are eligible to enter a sweepstakes in which the winner will be awarded a three-night stay at The Standard Ibiza, a two-night stay at The Standard London and a $1,000 flight credit. 

To apply for Secret Agent membership, advisors must be IATA-certified. 

The Standard brand has six hotels — two in New York and one each in Miami Beach, London, the Maldives and Hua Hin, Thailand. Scheduled to open this year are locations Bangkok and Spanish island Ibiza. 

Bunkhouse has 10 properties throughout Austin, San Antonio, Marfa and Salado, Texas; San Francisco; and Todos Santos, Mexico.
